The Popeyes $5 Faves menu is the chain’s main value menu for 2026. Every item on it costs $5, and you can combine two items to build a full meal for $10. Popeyes has refreshed the lineup several times this year, so here is what has been on it, when, and how to get the deal.
What’s on the Popeyes $5 Faves Menu?
Most recently, in summer 2026, the $5 Faves lineup included these four items:

January 5 – February 15, 2026
The first version of the year had four choices at $5 each:
- 3-piece Signature Chicken (Classic or Spicy)
- 3-piece Tenders (Classic or Spicy)
- Two Chicken Wraps (Classic or Spicy)
- Two regular sides: Cajun Fries, Red Beans & Rice, Mashed Potatoes with Cajun Gravy or Coleslaw (Mac & Cheese cost extra)
March 16 – May 3, 2026: the $5 Chicken Sandwich
Popeyes added its famous Chicken Sandwich to the $5 Faves menu for the first time, alongside 3-piece Signature Chicken, 3-piece Tenders (with a dipping sauce) and two regular sides. In stores, you had to ask for the $5 Faves deal by name.
Summer 2026: Butterfly Shrimp added
Popeyes extended the $5 Faves menu into the summer. In July 2026 it added an 8-piece order of Butterfly Shrimp in four dry-rub flavors (Buffalo, Garlic Parmesan, Lemon Pepper and Ghost Pepper), next to the Chicken Sandwich, 3-piece Tenders and 3-piece Signature Chicken.
How to Build a $10 Meal
The $5 Faves items do not include sides or a drink, so the easiest full meal is two $5 items together. For example:
- Chicken Sandwich + 3-piece Tenders for a big appetite
- 3-piece Signature Chicken + two regular sides (when sides are on the menu) for a classic Popeyes plate
- Two 3-piece Tenders orders to share between two people
How to Order the $5 Faves Deal
- In the Popeyes app or on popeyes.com: look for the $5 Faves section on the menu or the Offers tab.
- In the restaurant: ask for the “$5 Faves” deal by name. During the spring 2026 run, the price did not apply automatically at the counter.
- Participating stores only: franchise locations can choose whether to take part, and delivery apps usually charge more.
