In April 2026 Popeyes did something new: it teamed up with an anime. Working with Toei Animation, the studio behind the long-running series One Piece, Popeyes released a themed menu named after the Straw Hat crew, plus collectible merchandise. It was the chain’s first anime collaboration. Here is everything that was on the menu, what it cost, the merch and whether you can still get it.

Each Item Explained
Luffy Bento Bundle
The headline meal, named after the show’s main character. It was served in themed packaging and included two pieces of bone-in chicken, a Mac & Cheese cup, the lemonade and the cupcake. On launch day, buying this bundle at six selected restaurants could also get you a free official One Piece bento box while supplies lasted.
Gum-Gum Fruit Lemonade

The U.S. Luffy Bento Bundle paired the chicken with Mac & Cheese, the Gum-Gum Fruit Lemonade and Chopper’s Cupcake.

Fried pickles bundle
In Canada, the Luffy’s Bento Bundle came with two pieces of chicken, fried pickles and a fountain drink, and a Toronto restaurant on Yonge Street was turned into a One Piece-themed space until April 27.
Popeyes x One Piece Merchandise
Beyond the food, Popeyes sold a limited merch collection on its online shop, shop.popeyes.com, starting April 15, 2026:

- T-shirts with Popeyes x One Piece designs
- Official One Piece bento boxes, also given free to some launch-day customers

Why Did Popeyes Partner with One Piece?
One Piece has aired since 1999, has more than 1,000 episodes and is shown in over 60 countries, which makes it one of the biggest anime franchises in the world. Popeyes timed the launch with anime conventions in April and aimed it at younger fans; trend research firm YPulse noted that more than half of Gen Z say they watch anime. The promotion also came while Popeyes was trying to reverse several quarters of falling sales.
Is the Popeyes One Piece Menu Still Available?
The collaboration was a limited-time spring 2026 promotion, and Popeyes has since moved on to other offers such as the $6 Big Box, the Honey BBQ Chicken Sandwich and the $5 Faves menu.
